well i used to do translation work and to be honest, DDB even if they don't own D&D, they should be able to install a translator module on their site like a lot of internet site that have to deal with multiple language customers do.. then have a translator troubleshoot some terms and it could be done....
if you use chrome as your internet navigator, you can go in the setting and translate DDB in french but instead of races (races in french) like orc and human it says races (courses in french) like car races and a few other like the cantrip light, instead of saying light (lumière in french) like the light of a torch, it say light (léger in french) like this feather is light...
so it's still not an option for people that only speak french, because they won't understand everything.
Thanks for this crystal clear statement ArwensDaughter.
As a matter of fact, french translations are now again in store as WOTC did the job. Can we expect to see translations available in D&D Beyond in the future?
Keep up the good work, D&D beyond is a fantastic tool!
Oui, j'ai des gens qui aimerait beacoup utiliser d&d beyond fr. Certain ne comprenne pas bien la langue Englaise. Yes I have some peoole playing that would really enjoy d&d beyond in french. I mean Italien was a bad one to test compared to French. Better even French Canadian. That would make some good sales.

The only thing that prevent me (and my players) to take a DDB subscription is the inexistant French translation.
The core books (PHB, DMG, MM) and some others are already translated [REDACTED]
I'd really like to use DDB but some of my players don't speak English so it is not an option for the moment.
