Exactly what I was looking for. A duergar is organizing some underground pit fight and the PC (dwarf barbarian) that killed his brother is coming to fight for some coin. Of course the duergar won't hold back on enemies to throw at him now that he has the chance to see him die with his own eyes. This wand will be fun for holding down the owlbear while the cage is brought down, and as a foreshadowing of its use in case the damned duergar needs to escape and "cool down" the frenzied dwarf.
Nice inspiration for a home brew item
