Potion, rare
When you drink this potion, you gain the effect of the clairvoyance spell. An eyeball bobs in this yellowish liquid but vanishes when the potion is opened.
Notes: Scrying, Detection, Consumable
Does the clairvoyance effect require concentration, as the spell?
It doesn’t specify here. So yes.
No because this does not allow you to CAST the spell. You just gain it's effect.
DMG page 141: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dmg/treasure#Spells
"Many items, such as potions, bypass the casting of a spell and confer the spell’s effects with their usual duration."
What does it mean you gain the effect of clairvoyance? Clairvoyance isn't an effect that targets a person. Does it put the sensor on your body? If so, what's the point of that when you could use both seeing and hearing at the same time without needing to concentrate by just using your face?
